Introduce the basic structure of chain saw

The gasoline saw is generally composed of engine, transmission mechanism, sawing mechanism, etc. During the operation, the power drives the saw chain through the traditional mechanism to make the saw chain move continuously along the guide plate to cut wood.

Engine: generally single cylinder air-cooled two-stroke high-speed gasoline engine. In order to adapt to the operation of the chain saw in different positions in different sawing directions, the pump membrane carburetor with oil delivery pump is used, and the pressure pulsation in the crankcase is used to drive the diaphragm pump oil, so that the engine can supply oil normally at any position. In addition, the new structures such as ignition system of transistor contactless magneto and intake system of one-way valve are widely used, which improves the performance of the engine.

Transmission mechanism: including centrifugal friction clutch and reducer. Generally, the reducer adopts the cone wheel reducer, which is convenient to make the sawing mechanism adjust horizontally and vertically relative to the machine body, so as to meet the needs of different sawing directions during logging and timber making.

Sawing mechanism: it is the working part of chain saw, including driving sprocket, sawing chain, guide plate, sawing chain tension device and slotting teeth, etc.

For the gasoline saw, the future development trend will be to adopt new materials, new processes and new structures to further reduce the weight of the saw, reduce noise and vibration, reduce air pollution, and improve the operating conditions; add safety protection devices to improve the reliability and safety of use, and at the same time, continue to improve the rotor engine powered new saw and remote control.
